
Eleanor Henderson is the principle acupuncturist at Acupuncture South East and is qualified in acupuncture, sports massage and pregnancy massage with a First Class BSc (Hons) in acupuncture.
Eleanor studied acupuncture at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and completed her degree at the University of East London. She also studied and worked in China and obtained a certificate in clinical practice from the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China.
She is a member of theย British Acupuncture Councilย (BAcC), a voluntary register that has been accredited by theย Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Careย (PSA). This Accredited Voluntary Registration scheme was set up by the government to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public and demonstrates her commitment to high professional standards, to enhancing safety and delivering a better service. She is covered by full public indemnity and liability insurance.
Alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture, she is skilled in trigger-point acupuncture and massage (for musculoskeletal problems), electro-acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion.
Having previously worked in various clinics and community multi-bed clinics in the South East, Eleanor now works in and around Hastings and St Leonards, Bexhill, Eastbourne and Battle in East Sussex.
